Upcoming Youth Events:
1. Friday & Saturday (November 18th-19th): Cleaning & painting of the youth room in the coach house. Come on Friday at 9:00am to clean, in the afternoon we’ll go do something fun (excursion to be decided by those helping), in the evening we’ll eat supper, watch movies and sleep in the coach house. Saturday we’ll get up, paint (hopefully two coats) and then go home around 5:00pm.
2. Sunday, December 11 @ 2:00: Visiting the live nativity at St. James Lutheran Church in New Dundee. (Confirmation class instruction will start at 12:00 so we can be ready to go in the van by 1:30.)
3. Sunday, December 18 @ 2:00: In the coach house youth room we’ll be celebrating Christmas by assembling & then distributing gifts for our neighbours at Luther Manor. Supper will be included as part of our celebrations (as most good Lutheran gatherings include food).
4. January 20-22, 2012: Youth retreat at Camp Edgewood. See Pastor Becky for complete details.
5. August 16th-19th, 2012: The Canadian Lutheran and Anglican Youth gathering (CLAY) will be in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The cost is $350 for registration and most meals, plus transportation and accommodations. Registration begins January 1, 2012.

On Saturday, October 15th the K/W Conference Council invites you to hear speaker Michael Harvey, one of the founders of the “Back to Church Sunday” ministry in the UK. He will be speaking at St. John’s Lutheran Church from 9:00am until noon. All are welcome.
