St. John’s is a community of believers who have worshipped in Waterloo for almost 175 years. Below are the church's mission and vision statements, a list of our core values, and a statement of belief regarding homosexuality which was passed at a congregational meeting in 2004.


Mission Statement

We reach out with care and compassion
To love others.

Guiding Principles:

As a caring community of Christ, we believe:

- we will act with hearts that are glad and generous.

- we will work together and we will encourage one another.

- we will seek to be guided by the Spirit in all things.
